Over the past year, death doula and Women of the Water founder, Lisa Cheney-Philp, has been busy working with clients without a known prognosis of death to explore their highest priorities as if they had been told they have 90 days to live. The culmination of this experience for each client is an end-of-life care plan detailing their physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and practical goals and the action steps required to achieve them within their last three months of life.
Death Plans Living showcases the plans themselves and invites their creators front and center to tell their tales about what happens when we confront our lives in light of death through writing, artmaking, movement, poetry, and other means of creative expression.
Join us for this inspiring evening of ceremony, risk-taking, truthtelling, and beauty, to bear witness, honor, and learn from these courageous storytellers dedicated to living and dying well.
Doors open at 5:30 pm, program starts promptly at 6 pm and ends by 9 pm.
Parking is limited to the street. Please plan for a few extra minutes to park and make your way to the building.
Featured storytellers: Lisa Cheney-Philp, April Tierney, Brittany Calvert, & Ellen Geoffrion
