The Woman Behind the Women
Lisa Cheney-Philp is a community-based grief and death doula, creative facilitator, artist, shamanic practitioner and river guide who belongs to the world as one who rewrites history by well-tending endings and by singing the Colorado River home to the sea. Lisa has been embedded in Colorado communities and watersheds for over 25 years and has been growing roots in Fort Collins and the Poudre River watershed since 2021 with her supportive husband, Joel, inspiring daughter, Juniper, and snuggly-soft rescue dog, Sunny the Schnauzer.
